I started hand-poke tattooing in 2019 and machine in 2022. I prefer hand-poke because it gives a more organic story book feel. It’s totally a myth that stick and pokes fade more or less than machine tattoos. Since all tattoos fade, placement, technique, and skin quality is crucial to a long lasting tattoo.
